Children of all races, religions and ethnic backgrounds are welcome at Jean Lyle Children's Center. Consideration is given to children from diverse groups of our population and to the children of previously registered families. All other children are accepted on the basis of the date of application for admission and school readiness.

Registration Process

Parents must make an appointment to visit the school and then plan a later visit with their child. The parents and staff will then jointly evaluate the child's readiness and appropriate placement.

The preschool registration and non-refundable matriculation fee must be submitted no later than February 1st of the preceding year.

Preschool Registration and Fees

Preschool Registration is $150. This fee is nonrefundable but is applicable to tuition. Though our school session is September-May, tuition for all programs may be pro-rated over the school year in nine or eleven month plans. The monthly rate is the same regardless of vacation days.

Kindergarten Registration and Fees

Provisions for Payment

All payments should be received by the first day of each month, including September 1st, except the first payment which is due August 10th.
Please Note: A 15% Late Fee will be added to your monthly account unless arrangements have been made with the director. Always talk to Mrs. Van if there is a special need.

Partial Tuition Reduction Plans

Jean Lyle welcomes all families. When needed, a few opportunities are available for partial tuition reduction for work exchange. Mrs. Van will speak with interested persons.
