Jean Lyle Children's Center has everything your child needs to enjoy and treasure his or her first school experience.

Jean Lyle Children's Center is located in (but is not otherwise affiliated with) St. Mary's Episcopal Church on the corner of Howell and Laurel Aves in St. Paul.  You will find this school to be a cross between the "lil old school house' and "Grandma's house" with its characteristic hominess splashed with a school-like atmosphere.

This spacious facility makes it possible to provide many centers of interest and activity-environments in which furniture and equipment are scaled to the size, age and interests of the children.

The Large Muscle Room
A large, well equipped gymnasium with climbing and riding equipment, as well as open space.

The Big Room
A large, open space with activity centers, listening center, science corner, reading corner, and project space to accommodate the learning activities of the children.

The Sunshine Room
The most colorful room by far!  Crafts, painting, water and sand play make this room a favorite with the children and teachers alike.

The Rainbow Room, Sky Room and Star Room
Smaller club rooms use by multiple classes for a variety of fun, educational experiences.

There is a smaller outdoor play area used for free choice and play exploration when weather permits.  It includes climbing structures, a play house, a large sand area and open space.
