MUSIC TUESDAYS Music has always been an integral part of the experience we offer to children–through singing, playing instruments and dance. Our music specialist is an elementary school teacher and an accomplished musician, providing an invaluable opportunity for children to learn and grow through musical exploration. The music curriculum focuses on listening skills, voice and instrumental performance and creative movement. All the evidence on early childhood learning verifies the importance of musical instruction for children not only for the development of their musical abilities but also for their later development in math and language skills. We are delighted to be able to offer our children such a thoughtful and special music experience. We make a Jean Lyle special music CD recording available to our families on a regular basis. |
