Jean Lyle is dedicated to the education of the whole child. Our preschool and half-day kindergarten classes provide the setting for sharing ideas, solving problems, forming friendships, and building confidence.

Preschool for ages 3-5

Preschool for ages 4 to 6

A joyful, play-based morning class for 4 and 5 year olds that aims to promote school readiness, social skills, and most importantly, a love of learning to last a lifetime.

1/2 Day Kindergarten/Pre k for ages 4 1/2 to 6

Our kindergarten program meets 4.5 to 6 year olds where they are and seeks to give each child an engaging, nurturing, and individualized education. Our small class sizes give students (and parents) a chance to be a part of a community full of love and learning.

All classes have the goals of nurturing social and emotional development, developing and inspiring creativity, providing opportunities for cognitive development and problem-solving skills, and learning to initiate, develop, and reflect upon their own ideas. Children are challenged to develop language and math skills and to take risks with beginning writing skills.
